摘要: The aqueous solutions of the anionic hybrid fluorocarbon/hydrocarbon surfactant sodium 1-oxo-1[4-(tridecafluorohexyl)phenyl]-2-hexanesulfate (FC6HC4) shows peculiar rheological behavior. At 25 °C viscosity vs concentration curve goes successively through a maximum and minimum, while temperature 10 wt% FC6HC4 solution marked at 36 [Tobita et al., Langmuir 13 (1997) 5054]. In an attempt to explain these properties microstructure has been investigated by means digital light microscopy, transmission electron microscopy cryogenic (cryo-TEM), rheology, self-diffusion NMR. 20 °C, increase was found result in progressive change structure assemblies from mainly spherical micelles 0.5 cylindrical wt%. intermediate concentrations small disklike complete incomplete vesicles coexisting with were visualized. occurrence stretched is responsible for effect on viscosity. Cryo-TEM, NMR all suggest that brings about growth present FC6HC4. where could not be elucidated cryo-TEM because probable on-the-grid phase transformation, blotting during specimen preparation. Nevertheless, results show observed large break up higher give rise more labile bicontinuous consists multiconnected disordered lamellae, many folds creases, may well L3 phase.
