摘要: The SignSpeak project will be the first step to approach sign language recognition and translation at a scientific level already reached in similar research fields such as automatic speech or statistical machine of spoken languages. Deaf communities revolve around languages they are their natural means communication. Although deaf, hard hearing signers can communicate without problems amongst themselves, there is serious challenge for deaf community trying integrate into educational, social work environments. overall goal develop new vision-based technology recognizing translating continuous text. New knowledge about nature structure from perspective allow subsequent breakthrough development translation. Existing publicly available corpora used evaluate progress throughout whole project.
