摘要: Disclosed are methods for amplifying a nucleic acid target region using an amplification oligomer comprising target-binding segment and heterologous displacer tag situated 5′ to the segment. Initiation of reaction from tagged produces amplicon tag, such that once complement has been incorporated into second amplicon, oligonucleotide having sequence substantially corresponding is used participate in subsequent rounds displacement extension product primed site within priming site. Also disclosed related kits mixtures displacer-tagged oligonucleotide.
