摘要: The improvement in fatigue strength, with maintenance of a low Young’s modulus, biomedical β-type titanium alloy, Ti–29Nb–13Ta–4.6Zr (TNTZ), by thermomechanical treatment was investigated. A short aging time at an ω-phase-forming temperature combined severe cold rolling employed. fine ω phase is observed TNTZ subjected to this treatment. Because the texture β formed rolling, such as may be preferentially oriented direction that effective for inhibiting increase modulus. samples aged 573 K (300 °C) 3.6 ks and 10.8 after exhibit good balance between high tensile strength In case sample ks, improved, although not improved significantly. Both are improved. This highest among used current previous studies moduli less than 80 GPa.
