摘要: The structures and distribution of encapsulated muscle receptors were examined in serial transverse sections flexor carpi radialis the adult cat. Four types (muscle spindles, Golgi tendon organs, paciniform, Pacinian corpuscles) identified. Their resembled those encountered other limb muscles. corpuscles rare occurred only external fascial coat near its origin. three receptor distributed an uneven but consistent pattern throughout muscle. As noted previously (Gonyea Ericson, '77), spindles largely confined to a deep region comprising less than 20% volume, located directly between long origin insertion. This contains largest proportion type SO fibers '77). Tendon organs paciniform concentrated along tendons that lined spindle-rich region. appeared be composed extrafusal shorter more oblique pinnation regions. localization “oxidativex” core direct line pull may have functional implications for afferent input spinal cord which are discussed. In addition, possibility is raised there (and possibly muscles) thought.
