摘要: The trophic relationship between Torrent Catfish (Hatcheria macraei) and Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) was studied in a lotic Andean system of Argentina to examine whether these fish compete for the same food resources. Fishes were sampled seasonally, autumn, spring, summer. Hatcheria macraei O. mykiss presented carnivorous generalist feeding strategy. diet dominated by aquatic macroinvertebrates, terrestrial invertebrates an important component Large-sized fed on Catfish, which turn preyed mainly Chironomidae Elmidae larvae.
