摘要: Abstract In arid and semi-arid regions where water availability is a major limitation, using plants with low consumption one way to manage available efficiently. Chamomile (Matricaria recutita L.) may be considered as an economical crop for fields scarcity due its considerable adaptability wide range of climates soils. A field experiment was conducted during 2007–2008 complete randomized block design four replications in order evaluate the effect drought stress on agro-morphological characters (fresh flower weight, dried yield, shoot weight root weight), oil content, composition apigenin content chamomile. Drought had different levels soil moisture depletion (30%, 50%, 70% 90%). Analysis variance showed that decreased plant height, but it no significant or composition. Impacts growth indices were evaluated well results indicated managed maintain potential biomass production under stress. Growth analysis phytochemical properties this despite decrease agronomical traits, chamomile could proposed moderate resistant medicinal reasonable performance.
