摘要: Membrane fusion in all eukaryotic cells is facilitated by the formation of SNARE (soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor attachment protein receptor) complexes; a process that regulated Sec1p/Munc18 (SM) proteins. has been conserved through evolution and hence lot or our knowledge about molecular mechanism regulates membrane traffic come from experimentally tractable model organisms such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The work presented this thesis demonstrates mammalian protein, syntaxin 16 (Sx16), functional homologue yeast Tlg2p, expression Sx16 tlg2Δ cells, fully complements trafficking defects displayed these cells. This finding supported experiments demonstrating interacts both physically functionally with SM Vps45p, vivo vitro. Vps45p manner similar to way it Tlg2p; controlling entry into complexes regulating cellular levels. A model, which required for levels also discussed thesis.
