摘要: The effects of the monovalent cations K, Na, NH/sub 4/, Rb, Li, and Cs divalent Ca, Mg, Ba upon absorption carrier-free Cs/ sup 137/ by excised barley roots have been investigated. In concentration range 0 to 0.l0 meq per liter Ba, Mg had essentially no depressant effect Cs/sup uptake whereas were markedly effective. At higher concentrations all ions investigated inhibited 137/. was found be strongly temperature dependent is therefore largely result metabolic rather than difiusion adsorption phenomena. spite this behavior studied in inhibiting parallels their respect competition for exchange sites soil colloids. A possible reason discussed. (auth)
