Bulk growth of 〈1 0 1〉 KDP crystal by Sankaranarayanan–Ramasamy method and its characterization

摘要: Abstract Unidirectional 〈1 0 1〉 potassium dihydrogen orthophosphate (KDP) single crystal was grown for the first time by Sankaranarayanan–Ramasamy (SR) method. The oriented plate mounted as seed at bottom of glass ampoule and 30 mm diameter, 55 mm height grown. crystals were characterized UV–vis spectroscopy, microhardness, dielectric etching studies. SR method KDP has higher transmittance compared to conventional crystals. have much hardness value than constant loss less in against crystal. Dislocation density is KDP.
