摘要: Lithium transport through intercalation compounds, including transition metal oxides and carbonaceous materials, has been known for a long time to be limited by solid-state lithium diffusion most studies on the cell reaction kinetics have accordingly focused active materials [1–10]. However, number of anomalous behaviors, which never explained basis “diffusion-controlled” concept, reported various demanding new model explain behavior [11–23]. The understanding these phenomena entered phase when real mechanism was revealed “cell-impedance-controlled” process, not one [24–35]. This chapter deals with typical behaviors explains importance impedance as main factor affecting transport.
