摘要: Abstract Sugarcane bagasse is the residue produced by mills after juice extracted from sugarcane. Other important solid residues in sugarcane-to-sugar-and-ethanol production chain are leaves and tops of stalks (together referred to as cane trash). Although it represents a significant portion energy sugarcane, trash currently left fields. This paper has described analyzed how (bagasse trash) sugarcane their use an source ethanol. Also, presents review physical properties characteristics estimate potential. Bagasse have similar fuel other biomasses fuels. Special attention should be given ash, which higher fusibility alkali levels than bagasse. A flowchart typical mill was thermal mechanical consumption at various stages process determined. Of consumed work, about 58% accounted for milling extraction, 33% generation electricity plant. In using steam generators operating average pressure temperature (22 bar, 300–360 °C), 15% surplus, 480 kg used per tonne processed. An analysis revealed that there scope reducing amount needed operate turbines because low isentropic efficiencies identified. Cane trash, not yet production, also shows great potential quantities bagasse, its calorific value only slightly lower.
