摘要: Di Wang Tower is the highest building located at hub of Shenzhen financial and commercial area, about 2 km from Hong Kong border. On 16 September 1999, Typhoon York, which strongest typhoon since 1983 longest duration on record, attacked Shenzhen. The wind structural monitoring system installed in timely recorded response data. measured data are analysed this paper to obtain mean speed direction, turbulence intensity, gust factor, probability distribution, spectrum. characteristics York compared with those currently used previously obtained by other researchers. responses, including natural frequency, modal damping ratio, translational torsional displacement acceleration also provided. field measurement clearly demonstrate that performance satisfactory during York. here useful for validation tunnel tests future design tall buildings regions.
