摘要: Northern Canada, the vast, sparsely populated region of Canada affected by permafrost, encompasses about half (5 × 106 km2) country and includes Arctic Subarctic zones portions Boreal zone. This region, which is composed Northwest Territories, Nunavut (formerly eastern portion Territories), Yukon, northern most provinces, has a population density only 2 people per hundred square kilometers.
