摘要: 3 Abstract: This work was carried out in the course of a screening program for specific bioactive substances that demonstrated inhibitory affects against prokaryotic and eukaryotic microorganisms from actinomycetes strains..Five actinomycete isolates could be isolated water sample collected River Nile, Egypt were screened antimicrobial activities starch nitrate medium. One cultures (AZ-NIOFD ) 1 found to produce wide spectrum agent. The most potent producer strains selected identified. cultural, physiological biochemical characteristics isolate identified strain as member genus Streptomyces. nucleotide sequence 16S rRNA gene (1.5 kb) evidenced 98% similarity with S. tritolerans 96% plicatus 16 genes ultimately Streptomyces sp. MAR01. extraction S fermentation broth this resulted isolation one major compound, which active vitro Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria unicellular filamentous fungi. physico-chemical purified antibiotic viz. color, melting point, solubility, elemental analysis, spectroscopic chemical reactions have been investigated. analysis indicates suggested imperical formula C H N OS . minimum inhibition concentrations "MICs" 13 21 6 2
