摘要: Publisher Summary Childhood obesity prevention interventions are few in number, but those that do exist offer promise and direction for future research efforts. Community increases the breadth of target audience a cost-effective manner. Communities share proximity problems; they also resources unique attributes can be harnessed used positive ways. The Social Ecological model provides an excellent structure framing change efforts on multiple levels is most effective manner which to support maintain behavior individuals. Involving community any initiative helps researchers pinpoint specific needs as well identify assets untapped solutions.
