摘要: In conventional criticality evaluations of nuclear powder systems, effects particulate behavior were not considered. other words, it is difficult to take into account the particle motion in evaluations. We have developed a novel evaluation code resolve this problem. The code, coupling discrete element method simulation with continuous-energy Monte Carlo transport makes possible study dynamics on criticality. This applied mixed-oxide (MOX) fuel agitation process. are performed while mixing MOX and an additive stirred vessel investigate free surface deformation mixture state effective multiplication factor. results reveal that factor decreases due boundary increases as condition Zn-St close homogeneous.
