Structural and magnetic properties of nanocrystalline Ni0.7-xCuxCd0.3Fe2O4 prepared through Sol-gel method

摘要: Abstract A series of nanocrystalline Ni0.7-xCuxCd0.3Fe2O4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.5) are synthesized with the aid an auto-combusted Sol-gel approach and then annealed at 700 °C. Rietveld refinement X-ray diffraction (XRD) data reveals cubic spinel phase samples no impurity peaks. The average crystallite size materials is found to range from 18 29 nm mean particle's between 51 69 nm. variation in lattice constant volume unit cell Cu content shows increasing trend. nature investigated revealed through Field emission electron microscopy (FESEM) Transmission (TEM) analyses. magnetic properties characterized room temperature by employing Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) technique. saturation magnetization experimental moment noticed decrease up 20% substitution, thereafter both increase content. observed M-H loops, low values remanence ratio (Mr/MS) coercivity studied Ni-Cu-Cd suggest their soft ferrimagnetic behavior existence multi-domain (MD) nanoparticles.
