摘要: The nutritional interaction between niacin (nicotinic acid) and a group of nine other B vitamins in the Mediterranean fruit fly, Ceratitis capitata (Wiedemann), larval diet was evaluated. Four doses (0, 0.2, 2.0, 20 ppm) four mixture 7.07, 70.7, 707 were cross-tested. consisted thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, folic biotin, inositol, choline chloride, p-amino benzoic acid. Diets with high (≥70.7 low (≤0.2 resulted no pupal recovery. However, delayed duration reduced recovery when 7.07 ppm or lower compared those from complete that contained vitamins. With omission vitamins, but not dose dependent on niacin. Pupal affected if levels maintained at >0.2 absent. diet, Larval durations shortened elevated whereas recoveries increased Therefore, ≥2 ppm. When decreased to ≤0.2 ppm, has be <7.07 maintain normal development.
