摘要: Abstract Only after a relation was discovered between gravity waves and their effects on long-range radio communication, in the mid 20th-century, did field become of interest. This interest set wave research into measuring atmosphere. continues. Balloons kites were first vehicles for making situ measurements vertical variations temperature, wind speed, pressure, water vapor. These basic methods developed host measurement techniques instruments such as, microbarometers, radar, sonar, lidar, free floating balloons, tethered balloon, kites, aircraft, satellites, low-light photography. Measurements upper air turbulence made by returning space shuttle flights. In this chapter we review most these techniques.
