摘要: Atom Probe mass analysis, at 85 K, using a wide‐angle instrument was used to measure the oxygen content and metallic stoichiometry of near‐surface region superconducting ceramic oxide Eu1Ba2Cu3O7−x (x≂0.1) after vacuum exposure room temperature. Routine specimen preparation, handling, field‐ion imaging produced which had already lost such that its measured surface corresponded x=0.73 not expected 1:2:3 but enhanced in Ba Eu. The subsequently exposed for up 80 h temperature no additional loss detected. It concluded either (1) stoichiometric low‐oxygen also would have or (2) nonstoichiometric layer forms barrier subsequent loss.
