摘要: Data on the microbiological quality of freshwater systems under anthropogenic influence, such as Sava River, are major importance for water resource management. Furthermore, analyses microbial fish meat provide information a valuable food from investigated river basin. The health status fish, including dynamics infection and biodiversity endoparasites, is important bioindicator changes in ecosystem structure function. For ecosystem-based approach to River management, investigations European chub organism, well infection/biodiversity intestinal parasites Acanthocephala, were performed. survey comprised data collected periods 2005, 2006 2012. Microbiological investigation was performed 2012, while ichthyo-parasitological took place during 2005–2006. A high number heterotrophic bacteria recorded survey, confirmed by distinctly higher values three faecal indicators (total coliform, E. coli enterococci), indicated poor downstream cities Zagreb Velika Gorica, result municipal sewage outlets. results 2012 existence moderate critical organic pollution all samples. Accumulation mainly uniform along watercourse within standards limitations human consumption. Sampling sites Gorica characterised with lower prevalence abundance two common species acanthocephalan parasites, Pomphorhynchus laevis Acanthocephalus anguillae. Poor distribution related urban areas.
