摘要: Corn is one of the staple food crop grown in India, and its prodn. can be limited by species Fusarium, which decreases seed germination seedling survival. Apart from disease causing ability it also reduces nutritious value producing several mycotoxins, among fumonisins are most important. In present study two novel fungicides viz., tebuconazole thiabendazole were evaluated for their to inhibit growth toxigenic Fusarium verticillioides, reduce ear rot incidence enhance quality parameters under both green house field conditions. Tebuconazole at rate 5% aq. soln. effectively reduced accumulation a max. extent compared other during three consecutive years expt.
