Software engineering for big data projects: Domains, methodologies and gaps

摘要: Context: Big data has become the new buzzword in information and communication technology industry. Researchers major corporations are looking into big applications to extract maximum value from available them. However, developing maintaining stable scalable is still a distant milestone. Objective: To look at existing research on how software engineering concepts, namely phases of development project life cycle (SDPLC), can help build better application projects. Method: A literature survey was performed. manual search covered papers returned by engines resulting approximately 2,000 being searched 170 selected for review. Results: The results helped identifying rich projects that have potential utilize successfully. review exploring SDPLC context performing gap analysis yet see detailed efforts but deserve attention.
