摘要: Excess electrostatic charge induction on paper under an potential, at different relative humidity (RH) values, was measured using a Kelvin voltmeter set-up. Results show that samples positive potential accumulate excess negative charges, which are dissipated when the is brought down to zero. Rates of accumulation and dissipation over equal constant RH both rates decrease markedly lower values. These results interpreted new model for electrification insulators, based effect electric electrochemical (µi=µi° + RTln zFV) H(H2O)n+ OH(H2O)n- ions within water adsorbed insulators. re-neutralization thus strongly dependent amount in atmosphere. This explains experimental presented this work also number hitherto unexplained reports phenomena.
