摘要: A recent collection of bats from northern Sulawesi (Celebes), Halmahera and Bacan (Batjan), Indonesia, contains representatives three macroglossine genera. specimen Eonycteris rosenbergii (Jentink, 1889) — a species previously known only the immature type together with an additional, unreported confirms diagnostic value absence third lower molar. The validity this taxon has been questioned by several authors, who suggested that E. is based on anomalous spelaea (Dobson, 1871). Other material Sulawesi, referable to spelaea, discussed, first record for island Muna (Moena), comparative notes are given populations other parts species' range. An outsize Syconycteris Matschie, 1899 described here as new species, constituting genus north Moluccas. Finally, series Macroglossus minimus (Geoffroy, 1810) represents these islands.
