摘要: This paper thematizes the operative kinaesthetic style of world-experiencing life by turning to ongoing “how” our habitual bodily comportment: deeply sedimented way(s) “making a body”; schematic inner vectors or tendencies toward movement that persist as “ghost gestures” even if one is not making larger, visible gestures they imply; and “inadvertent isometrics,” i.e., persisting patterns “trying,” “bracing,” “freezing,” etc. All such micromovements witness sociality insofar are only socially shaped, but perpetuate certain styles intercorporeal interaction sustain modes responsivity. “Reactivating sediment” -- retrieving tacit “choreography” everyday from its anonymity sensing ways living out legacy “communal body” allows one's individual shift, can open new possibilities for healthy interkinaesthetic comportment. Such work thus contribute an “embodied ethics” in both theory practice.
