摘要: The present study evaluated the safety of and obtained preliminary data on cognitive effects L-deprenyl physostigmine in patients with Alzheimer's Disease. Seventeen outpatients Disease participated a double-blind crossover which they received 4 weeks at dose 10 mg p.o., q.d., placebo random order. During both periods, assessments during (0.5 mg) infusions separated by 2 days. these agents alone combination were measured digit span, verbal fluency, list learning, praxis, delayed recall, recognition tasks. Fifteen completed study. two drugs, used or combination, safe well tolerated. Analyses variance demonstrated that neither nor L-deprenyl, whether given significantly improved cognition, when compared double condition.
