摘要: The Italian Geological Survey (APAT) carried out field surveys and analysis of collapse phenomena (sinkholes) in Italy. main goal the project is to collect geological, geomorphological, geochemical hydrogeological data about sinkhole-prone areas Italy order develop a spatial database characteristics each phenomenon. preliminary results this study provide information on distribution, geological setting, monitoring remediation actions associated with these natural collapses Many regions are affected by disasters. Some them caused karst or anthropic activity. However, some occur characterized buried carbonate bedrock (up 190 m), as well peculiar geological–structural scenarios. In it not reasonable ascribe formation mechanism Instead, types cavities quickly terrains variable granulometry, often connection upwelling fluids. work specific cases have been studied define relationships between geology (regional tectonic elements, mineral spring waters strong gas vents) genesis sinkholes. A first attempt sinkhole classification also presented.
