摘要: Background Patients who have a midline abdominal scar from previous surgery often present challenge when use of transverse rectus abdominis myocutaneous (TRAM) flap is desired for breast reconstruction. In this study, the authors reviewed their experience with TRAM reconstruction in patients scars to evaluate various strategies used optimize reconstructive outcomes. Methods Between January 1994 and December 2001, 43 underwent unilateral autologous tissue at The University Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Results mean age was 13 years (range, 4 45 years). 26 patients, only free hemi-TRAM flaps were Free nine whom zone II across had an adequate blood supply able be incorporated into five supplies both sides augment perfusion scar. three infraumbilical scars, designed higher abdomen so that superior half scar-free. Conclusions Various are available using surgical some cases, can reliably
