摘要: Summary Background Within the preceptorship model of clinical teaching/learning, creation a cohesive relationship between preceptor and nursing student highly influences overall success experience. Invariably, preceptors students tend to be different generations as such, there exists within this context potential for generational misunderstandings conflict. Design A phenomenological study guided by van Manen's approach human science research was conducted. Objective The aim is explore phenomenon in intergenerational context. Participants purposive sample seven recruited from an undergraduate program. Findings collective experience all participants illuminated through three key themes: being affirmed , challenged on pedagogical journey . In article we focus encountering conflict subtheme one that emerged participants' narratives. Conclusions findings suggest interpersonal continues reality our profession, owing which effort must made nurse educators, practicing nurses, effect change create more culture. have enhance understanding foster culture practice settings.
