摘要: Large mammals play significant roles in shaping the trophic structure of terrestrial ecosystems and affect form vegetation growth many habitats. We studied large mammal community a Mediterranean habitat mosaic generated by fires originally dominated pine forests. conducted camera-trapping surveys three study sites with different fire histories, we recorded eight species including brown bear (Ursus arctos), caracal (Caracal caracal), wild goat (Capra aegagrus), which are conservation importance. The found was functionally diverse, herbivores, omnivores, carnivores, seed dispersers, soil diggers, main preys, top predators. site burned 13 years ago had higher richness than can be expected from random pattern, but this not case 30- >40-year-old sites, showing importance relatively younger for mammals. Eurasian badger more probability to have abundance places open while dense vegetation. Young individuals goat, bear, boar were also detected sites. results indicate that habitats harbor phylogenetically diverse landscapes Therefore, these forests continue retain after fire, should taken into consideration management plans together mature ecosystems.
