High performance of phosphate-functionalized graphene oxide for the selective adsorption of U(VI) from acidic solution

摘要: Abstract In this study, phosphate-functionalized graphene oxide (PGO) was prepared by grafting triethyl phosphite onto the surface of GO using Arbuzov reaction. The as-prepared PGO characterized scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy and Zeta potential. application to remove U(VI) from aqueous solution investigated with a maximum adsorption capacity 251.7 mg/g at pH = 4.0 ± 0.1 T = 303 K. mechanism also analysis, indicating chemical on surface. Moreover, experimental results gave better removal efficiency toward than other heavy metal ions acidic solution, selective extraction environmental pollutants.
