摘要: A technique is described for closure of lumbosacral myelomeningoceles. The pathological anatomy these lesions examined, and the junction skin dura identified as "junctional zone." This zone permits maximal preservation available watertight after operative dissection. junctional also serves an anchor traction sutures, permitting without tension. Seventy consecutive repairs have been completed by authors significant complications. There no instances cerebrospinal fluid leaks, meningitis, or wound dehiscence. In all cases repair was carried out rapidly in a single stage.
