摘要: A transient short-hot-wire technique is proposed and used to measure the thermal conductivity diffusivity of liquids simultaneously. The method based on numerical evaluation unsteady heat conduction from a wire with same length diameter ratio boundary conditions as those in experiments. To confirm applicability accuracy this method. Measurements were made for five sample known thermophysical properties performed under both normal gravity microgravity conditions. results reveal that present determines within 2 5%. respectively. experiments clearly indicate even conditions, natural-convection effects are negligible at least l s after start heating. This would be particularly suitable valuable expensive liquid, has potential application electrically conducting or corrosive when probe effectively coated an insulating anticorrosive material.
