Near-Infrared Photoluminescence in Mo-Doped Single Crystals of CuAlS2

摘要: Near-infrared photoluminescence (PL) spectra were measured at 6 K in single crystals of CuAlS2 doped with different amounts Mo. A fine-structure PL emission was observed around 1,600 nm (0.775 eV) both lightly and heavily crystals. The tentatively assigned to the ligand-field transition 4d3-manifold Mo3+ ions taking into account reported spectrum Nb2+ (4d3)-doped GaAs. On other hand, a broad band 1,500 (0.826 only heavily-doped an intra-center Mo2+–X complex.
