摘要: Abstract Paper manufacture is a very energy-intensive industry and generates large amount of waste such as paper mill sludge (PMS). Given that the current PMS disposal ways (e.g., incineration landfilling) are not eco-friendly costly, establishing an appropriate platform including energy recovery crucial to making more environmentally benign economically viable industrial manufacturing process. In this respect, study places great emphasis on investigating influence CO2 pyrolysis by systematical analysis major three-phase pyrolytic products, gases tar, under N2 atmospheres. It was validated using reaction medium in only increased production CO (a constituent syngas) ∼1000% but also decreased tar 23%. The increase decrease formation likely resulted from reactions between volatile organic compounds (VOCs) generated thermal decomposition PMS, which could be expedited catalytic effects minerals contained PMS. results shown applied design green processes efficiently utilizing potent greenhouse gas, CO2.
