摘要: Objective To determine the subset of alpha 1-adrenoceptors mediating functional abstraction prostate to noradrenaline. Materials and methods Radioligand experiments were performed with membranes prepared from rat 1 fibroblasts transfected 1a, hamster 1b or bovine 1c adrenoceptor cDNA. Human prostatic tissue obtained transurethral resection full informed consent was submitted in vitro muscle strip experiments. Results The binding defined potential subtype selectivity various antagonists. Using this information, it possible define functionally important 1-adrenoceptor human prostate. Conclusion This work reports results first characterization 1c-adrenoceptor subtype. most type appears be finding may aid development prostate-selective pharmacotherapy.
