摘要: Abstract Stearic acid gel is employed to study the phase evolution of MgTiO 3 nanoparticles by thermal gravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, and Fourier transform infrared. During preparation stearic gel, tetrabutyl titanate easily absorbed moisture hydrolyze into Ti(OH) 4 firstly, then reacts with magnesium stearate form magnesium–titanium oxide network polymer meanwhile n-butanol generated. When calcined in air, a series oxidation combustion reactions occur, apparent heat given off. The results show that metastable intermediate Mg 2 TiO generated at 450 °C nearly disappeared 550 °C. Simultaneously, new solid appears. successfully identified current work.
