摘要: Some studies of populations in small rodents rely on enumeration individuals to provide an estimate population size. A computer simulation the capture–recapture process was used examine influence five parameters reliability enumeration. Enumeration is shown be insensitive size, survival between sampling intervals, and individual variation probability capture. sensitive capture; if capture for average falls below 0.5, technique provides a poor also extremely reduced probabilities unmarked animals. Data from species Microtus were simulation, it concluded these that enumerated are at least 10–20% smaller than actual populations.
