摘要: Few prebiotic chemistry experiments have assessed the adsorption of biomolecules by iron oxide-hydroxides. The present work investigated effects cations in artificial seawaters on Gly, α-Ala and β-Ala onto goethite, vice versa. Goethite served to concentrate K Mg from solution; these could played important roles peptide nucleoside formation. showed low Gly α-Ala. On other hand, (a non-protein amino acid) was highly adsorbed goethite. Because are most common acids living beings, oxide-hydroxides widespread Earth, additional oxides should be studied. Increased ionic strength decreased Na abundant seawater, it highest effect acid adsorption. increased Ca this been for synthesis.
