摘要: Abstract The effect of choline on phosphatidylethanolamine biosynthesis in the isolated hamster heart was investigated. Hamster hearts were perfused with [2-14C]ethanolamine presence 0-0.5 mM choline. Incorporation label into decreased 28% at 0.2-0.5 Analysis ethanolamine-containing metabolites CDP-ethanolamine pathway revealed that (0.2-0.5 mM) perfusate had no labeling ethanolamine. However, a 28-30% reduction phosphoethanolamine and observed. Concurrently, there 2-fold increase intracellular level. Although formation is regarded as rate-limiting step for biosynthesis, found to inhibit ethanolamine kinase, but did not have any cytidylyltransferase. Hence, may provide an additional mechanism regulation biosynthesis.
