摘要: Being able to accurately characterize the terahertz performance of simple metal conductors is very important for CAD modelling components, circuits and systems operating at these frequencies. A comprehensive survey published experimental data room temperature surface resistance metals, from DC up edge mid-infrared frequency range, has been undertaken. It found that, with optical measurements performed within far-IR region, there does not appear be anomalous intrinsic conduction loss phenomenon temperature; this in direct contradiction findings other research groups. This because non-optical measurement approaches adopted by Tischer, Schwab et al. Batt are fundamentally flawed, since could attributed one or more factors that were taken into account.
