摘要: Abstract Land use changes are among the main factors shaping diversity patterns of soil fauna in European ecosystems. However, current knowledge on biodiversity levels across land types to establish baseline values with monitoring purposes still lacking. Also, only few initiatives have been including functional components monitoring, despite noticeable link between organisms and aboveground ecosystem services. Here, we analyzed differences collembolan taxonomic an transect sites comprising different (forests, grasslands arable lands) characteristics terms habitat conditions properties. No clear relation was found species richness site typology established this study. community traits life-forms responded gradient properties indicated based higher proportion eu-edaphic forested sites, comparison lands. Among environmental variables, pH parameter influencing both weighted mean life-forms, negatively correlated components. The effects may also reflect influence history management practices ecosystems more suitable related preferences, tolerance should be further investigated for species. Our results suggest that provide a clearer picture So included ‘indicator shopping basket’ studies
