摘要: We investigated the possible formation of mixed BnB′n′Ca2+ complexes where B and B′ are two different nucleobases. Electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectrometric experiments from solutions containing kinds nucleobases calcium ions were carried out to investigate magic number clusters that may be relevant in a biological point view. The results presented here clearly show can formed stable gas phase. This represents an important step toward more complex which several present simultaneously compete cationized clusters. believe thorough investigations on such systems help understanding processes effect tridimensional structure DNA macromolecule. The hexamers, decamers, dodecamers tetradecamers favored solution uracil (Ura), thymine (Thy) Ca2+, whereas octamers preferred 1-methyl (MeU), Ca2+ mixtures.
