摘要: Cytochromes P-450 are ubiquitously distributed multicatalysts, which were discovered approximately 50 years ago. They possess a high degree of complexity and display broad field activity. Although already more than 18 000 different P450 genes have been described, new forms constantly being found, opening up research fields. the key enzymes responsible for metabolism many drugs, carcinogens, alkaloids, pesticides, other important xenobiotics. Moreover, they involved in variety physiological processes such as steroid hormone, eicosanoid, vitamin D, bile acid biosynthesis. hemoproteins that use molecular oxygen to catalyze various reactions. In most cases, get electrons necessary activation substrate hydroxylation from NADH or NADPH, general via action electron-transferring proteins. Most eukaryotic cytochromes membrane bound. Many them inducible, but some constitutively expressed. Defects mammalian lead pathological effects, congenital adrenal hyperplasia hypertension, adverse drug effects.
