摘要: Polyclonal antithymocyte globulin preparations contain antibodies with reactivity to endothelial cells. Therefore, we investigated whether treatment this reagent caused complement deposition in human cardiac transplants. Frozen tissue was available from endomyocardial biopsies of 75 patients, who were transplanted between April 1995 and 2000. Nine these patients converted cyclosporin A (CsA) horse (ATGAM) the first month after transplantation. All stained by immunofluorescence for C4d as evidence activation classical pathway complement. In addition, treated ATGAM control immunoglobulin (Ig)G. nine received had IgG C4d. Two color stains demonstrated that colocalized staining. No staining or evident obtained before treatment. Likewise, no detected seven Most histologic rejection, but did have myocyte damage macrophage infiltration. Thus prophylactic is associated transplant.
