Formation mechanism of corroded surface profile in reinforcing bars under coupled chemomechanical attacks

摘要: Based on surface roughness characterisation technology, this paper describes the non-uniform distribution of corrosion pit depth in reinforcing bars. The result shows that existence tensile stress affects arithmetical mean deviation Ra can be used to characterise profile. Under condition similar mass loss ratio, corroded bars under chloride attack is obviously lower than coupled chemomechanical effect. phenomenon explained by thermodynamics corrosion.
