摘要: Use of plants and plant-derived metabolites for human health well-being is as old civilization. The plant kingdom contains an estimated 400,000–500,000 different species each produces a number secondary which enables them to withstand various biotic abiotic stresses. such alkaloids, steroids, flavonoids, terpenoids, etc., are known have biological activities. Moreover, because their natural origin, the increasingly preferred therapeutic applications all over world. However, overharvesting biologically active rapidly diminishing valuable treasure medicinal plants. Endophytes microbial symbionts live in internal tissues mimic chemistry host plant. Because huge diversity ability produce range similar plant, they attracted significant attention scientific community plant- endophyte-derived sufficient research last decade include compounds with antioxidant, antihypercholesterolemic, antidiabetic, anticancer present article reviews current state on from endophytic fungi. work carried out our lab bioprospecting fungi molecules antihypercholesterolemic potential also included.
