摘要: Cyclosporine has improved patient and graft survival rates in solid organ transplantation, been increasingly applied with considerable clinical benefit the treatment of autoimmune diseases. However, therapeutic benefits immunosuppressive therapy for transplant indications have frequently limited by occurrence chronic nephrotoxicity. nephrotoxicity therefore remains an important challenge. The aspects pathophysiology cyclosporine nephrotoxicity, which is characterized a decrease glomerular filtration rate, afferent arteriolopathy, striped tubulointerstitial fibrosis, are reviewed. Insights gained from experimental models associated fibrosis presented to elucidate pathophysiology.
